1. Overview
===========

ActionOutline is a way to organize your information. 
It can build very deep outlines very easy and gives
you full power to control it. At first start it will
bring up a little tutorial which should teach you 
how to use it. You can get back to it anytime by 
using Help|Getting started! menu item.

Evaluation copies of ActionOutline consist of the following
elements:

  Action.exe

    Evaluation version of ActionOutline

  Setup.exe

    Installation utility

  Setup.inf

    Information used for installation

  Remove.inf

    Information used for deinstallation

  File_id.diz

    Small description for this package

  License.txt

    License agreement

  Order.txt

    Ordering notes

  Readme.txt

  - Win95/98/NT4

3. Installation/deinstallation
==============================

ActionOutline is installed by following the steps below:

  1) Create temporary directory.

  2) Extract the contents of this archive to it.

  3) Run Setup.exe and answer Yes to install. 

     ActionOutline will be installed into the
     <Program Files directory>\AO, start
     menu item will be created.

To remove ActionOutline from your computer follow the
steps below:

  1) Open Control Panel.

  2) Open Add/Remove Programs item.

  3) Double-click ActionOutline 1.0 Beta 1 item or select it
     and press Add/Remove... Answer Yes to remove.

If you have occured problems during automatic installation,
you can try install ActionOutline manually. Then you need to
follow the steps below:

  1) Create directory
     <Program files directory>\AO and copy
     contents of this package to this directory.

  2) Drop Action.exe on to the Start menu.

  3) Run Action.exe and use View|Options...
     menu item. Then press Associate... button.
     Answer Yes and this will associate .ao
     file extension with ActionOutline.

4. Registration
===============

ActionOutline is a shareware. You must read and accept
the terms detailed in the License.txt file before you
can use this software. See Orders.txt for the ordering
notes.

Each item is limited to have 7 subitems only in the
evaluation version.

Registered users will receive a fully functional version
of ActionOutline.
